1996 Corvette LT4 383 Stroker w/6 speed

Last year for this body style. This car is completely built.

Engine:

383 all forged; 4340 Forged steel crank shaft; 4340 forged steel H-beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts; Custom JE 2618 Forged nitrous /blower pistons. GMPP Roller timing chain and heavy duty gears; ARP main studs; ARP head bolts; ARP flywheel bolts; LT4 block,4 bolt mains, decked, bored, cleaned, clearanced. High volume oil pump. Oil pump main cap has been ported and polished. File fit rings. Chamfered race bearings. Stage 3 race prepped LT4 heads with 2.02/ 1.60 stainless steel valves. Titanium retainers and locks. Custom ground cam shaft. Ported and Port matched LT4 intake. The intake is tapped for direct port, but the holes have pipe plugs in them, but the hard work of direct port is already done if you want to use a direct port system. BBK 58 mm throttle body. Pro Magnum roller rockers. Trick flow 7/16 push rods with guide plates. New GM roller lifters. Cometic head gaskets. MSD opti spark distributor. MSD coil. Taylor wires. Miziere electric water pump. MSD 6AL and three stage timing retard. Custom tuned by Thunder Racing. K&N filter. Modified air box lid. Smooth bellow. Throttle body bypass. 160 thermostat. 1 ¾” Jet Hot coated super competition long tube headers with no collector gaskets. Nitrous express kit with 15 lb bottle and bottle warmer with gauge. Kevlar explosion proof bell housing blanket. This car can put over 600 HP to the rear tires. The car can run 10’s on street tires. Mid 11’s on the motor.

Car:

New GM 6 speed manual transmission. New solid mass flywheel. Centerforce dual friction clutch. New clutch master cylinder. New solid brute force universal joints. 9 1/8” 4:11 ring and pinion. The rear end housing had to be machined to fit the larger ring and pinion( originally had an 8 ¾” ring and pinion). New cold stabilized spindles. All new Grand Sport brake calipers and performance pads. New braided steel brake lines. Original Grand Sport wheels (not replicas) 17x11’s rear and 17x 9.5 front. Brand new 275/40ZR17 BFG g-force KD on the front and 315/35ZR17 Nitto drags on the rear. QA1 12 way adjustable shocks all around. Complete original Black Grand Sport interior including embroidered power leather seats. Sony CD player with front USB and Ipod connections and wireless remote. Bose speakers. Cold air conditioning. Power steering, power locks, power windows, power brakes, cruise control, tilt wheel Targa top. The car is custom painted like the Grand Sport, only it is black with a yellow stripe and hash marks. Custom rear bumper cover with 2004 tail lights and third brake light.
