Cinder was found among cinderblocks outside our shelter. She was probably born to a feral cat. In spite of this, she is sweet when picked up and has a fine purr.Pictures and additional information on each of our adoptable pets can be found on our website www.prcspca.org under either 'Cats Looking for a Home' or 'Dogs Looking for a Home'. You can call the shelter at 601-798-8000 M-F from 10 am until 5 pm for more information on our adoptable animals. We have same day adoptions (unless they have not yet been spayed or neutered). All of our babies are spay/neuter when they go home. They come with a 30 day health insurance policy, a 30 day return policy, and a 5 pound bag of Science Diet food. They have been given shots appropriate to their age and the time they have been in our care. All of our animals have a microchip (cost of registration is included in the adoption fee). We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards for our adoption fees. CAT SPECIFIC INFORMATION For more information on cats, you may call 601-799-1541. All cats and kittens are tested for FELV/FIV. Selected cats are at PETsMART in Slidell at all times. Our adoption fee for all felines is $80. DOG SPECIFIC INFORMATION Adults (anyone over 6 months) are tested for heartworms and are h/w free unless otherwise noted on our website. Heartworm positive dogs are put through a modified treatment before placing them up for adoption. We bring our puppies and dogs to PETsMART in Slidell almost every Sunday. Our adoption fee for all canines is $90.
