I need a purr-fect home and someone to love me.Pocket, and her mama Locket, were found on the side of the road.  Little Pocket was only 3 weeks old and so weak that we didn't think she would make it through the night.  After lots of time and lots and lots of TLC, little Pocket is finally starting to thrive and grow.  Her mama is very protective of her probably because of all she went through.  They play together and sleep curled up together.  They are both simply beautiful and Pocket is becoming the image of her mama Locket.  Because of this, we are offering a special 'two for the price of one' to try to keep them together.  They are pictured together in the 3rd picture.Pictures and additional information on each of our adoptable pets can be found on our website www.prcspca.org under either 'Cats Looking for a Home' or 'Dogs Looking for a Home'. You can call the shelter at 601-798-8000 M-F from 10 am until 5 pm for more information on our adoptable animals. We have same day adoptions (unless they have not yet been spayed or neutered). All of our babies are spay/neuter when they go home. They come with a 30 day health insurance policy, a 30 day return policy, and a 5 pound bag of Science Diet food. They have been given shots appropriate to their age and the time they have been in our care. All of our animals have a microchip (cost of registration is included in the adoption fee). We accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards for our adoption fees. CAT SPECIFIC INFORMATION For more information on cats, you may call 601-799-1541. All cats and kittens are tested for FELV/FIV. Selected cats are at PETsMART in Slidell at all times. Our adoption fee for all felines is $80. DOG SPECIFIC INFORMATION Adults (anyone over 6 months) are tested for heartworms and are h/w free unless otherwise noted on our website. Heartworm positive dogs are put through a modified treatment before placing them up for adoption. We bring our puppies and dogs to PETsMART in Slidell almost every Sunday. Our adoption fee for all canines is $90.
